What Information Should I Include?
There are a number of things that every advert should include in order to achieve the best results. Ultimately, it’s up to you what you include, but please use the following handy hints and tips for guidance.
-
Advert Size
Choose the right advert size for your needs, depending on how much content you need to include and what is most affordable over a period of time. We recommend running your advert for at least a 3-month period in order to accurately gauge the response.
-
Logos
You may supply your company logo along with your advert, or alternatively, request that we design a logo for you. We also include logos for organisations such as Gas Safe or professional guilds, but please note that is an offence to use these logos if you are not a current member or suitably qualified.
-
Telephone Numbers
It is advisable to have a landline number along with a mobile number, as some people are still a bit wary about calling mobiles alone. It makes good sense to have a voice mail message on both lines with your personal message.
-
Address
Our feedback shows that readers feel more at ease using advertisers that display their address, which is why it’s advisable to include a business address in your advert.
-
Email Address
Including your email address will greatly increase your advert’s potential for generating and converting leads.
-
Website Address
If your website is kept up to date and fully functional, it’s important to include it in your advert so that your potential customers are able to obtain further details.
